When every shot counts, the smallest details in your optics setup can make a world of difference. Most thermal clip-ons, however, face two frustrating issues when paired with a variable-power day scope: once you zoom in, the thermal UI often disappears from view, and the image becomes noticeably blurred at higher magnifications.
NOCPIX solved these problems with an innovative solution: Magic Zoom. By keeping the full interface visible at all zoom levels and applying automatic R+ image enhancement, Magic Zoom ensures hunters always see a clear, information-rich sight picture — no compromises.

The Principle Behind Magic Zoom
Magic Zoom is powered by high-sensitivity sensor chips inside both the accessory and the MATE device. By detecting the relative angle of the magnification ring on your day scope, the system knows exactly how far you’ve zoomed. This real-time data allows MATE to:
- Scale the thermal UI to match scope magnification
- Apply image optimisation (R+) for maximum clarity at higher zoom
The result is seamless synchronisation between your day scope and thermal display — without manual adjustment.

How to Use Magic Zoom
The MATE series (H50R, H38R, MATE ULTRA) supports Magic Zoom as standard. Setup is simple:
Mount MATE to your day scope. Secure Magic Zoom on the magnification ring and insert the battery.
Power on MATE. Hold the Magic Zoom power button for ~3 seconds until the green light flashes and goes off.
Wait ~10 seconds until the Magic Zoom icon appears on-screen.
Follow the calibration prompts:
Confirm installation
Set to 3× → confirm
Set to 6× → confirm
Set to 9× → confirm

Calibration complete
From then on, the UI and image will always scale correctly with your scope magnification.
Key Notes
After calibration, simply replace the battery when empty — no need to remove or recalibrate.
If Magic Zoom is detached from the scope, recalibration is required.
Magic Zoom ensures that both your thermal interface and image quality scale smoothly with your day scope. The result is faster, clearer, and more natural shooting — exactly what hunters need when the pressure is on.
