Alexander Gustafsson is the Mr.Nocpix in Sweden, a passionate hunter who has spent his whole life in the field. Coming from a family where hunting is a long-standing tradition, Alexander considers it a natural part of his life. As a Nocpix ambassador, he’s eager to share his knowledge and help the Swedish hunting community choose the best thermal sights for their needs.
In this interview, Alexander talks about how he started hunting, his experiences in the field, and his thoughts on Nocpix products.
Q1: What inspired you to become a hunter?
A1: My whole family hunts, so I have been hunting all my life. Hunting has come naturally into my life.
Q2: Why did you decide to become a Nocpix ambassador?
A2: I want to show products that I really like and use myself. Nocpix are really quality products, and I can really recommend these products.
Q3: Can you share any special experiences or stories from your hunting career?
A3: Oh, I don’t know. All hunts are special in their own way. But one hunt that was very special was when I was out one night and had a fox that was very curious and followed me everywhere I went. That night I got to shoot five pigs, so it was a very successful hunt!
Q4: What role does equipment play in your success as a hunter, and how do you test and evaluate new gear?
A4: It is very important what kind of equipment you have. You get better conditions when you have good quality equipment. I usually test my gear in all weathers and difficult conditions. Then it is very important that you know your products and know all the settings.
Q5: What is your favorite Nocpix product and why?
A5: I like many products. My favorite is Lumi H35 or ACE H50R—it is hard to choose.
Lumi is a good size and has an incredibly good image. It has so many great features. You can keep it in your pocket and easily take it with you when hunting.
The ACE H50R is an incredible product—extremely good picture and very easy to use and navigate in the menu. The rangefinder is a very good aid and allows you to take safe shots.
Q6: As a Nocpix ambassador, what are your future goals? How do you hope to use this role to promote both the brand and your own career?
A6: It is to help the Swedish hunting corps choose the right thermal sights and spread the right knowledge. Talking and discussing on social media, making informative films, and being out at events.
